Magic: The Gathering’s next big set, The Lost Caverns of Ixalan, is gearing up for launch on November 17th, and once again we’ve got a special, exclusive card preview to whet your appetite for the return to Ixalan.
The Lost Caverns of Ixalan will see players venture into the untold depths below, where riches, mysteries and ancient gods await. Returning to the wild plane of Ixalan, The Lost Caverns of Ixalan brings merfolk, pirates, vampires and dinosaurs to a perilous new adventure filled with treasure, glory and rivalry.

Echoing Deeps
Echoing Deeps is one of this new set’s line up of new Land cards, being a colourless Land – Cave with the option for players to enter it onto the battlefield, tapped, as a copy of any land card in a graveyard. It retains the Cave type on top of whatever type it’s copied from the target land. Naturally, it also can be tapped during a player’s turn to generate one colourless mana.
The card’s art comes from Mauricio Calle and the flavour text reads, “The still, silent waters reflect what was, not what is.”
