THQ Nordic has dropped a fresh new trailer for South Park: Snow Day, showing off the first proper look at gameplay of this co-op action game where the kids of South Park battle it out across a blizzard-coated landscape to save the town from an endless winter.

Feel more with PS5. Beyond the everyday. Beyond extraordinary. Even beyond imagination. Feel it now.
The gameplay trailer shows off glimpses of combat in this 1-4 player co-op experience, where players can use all manner of fantasy and LARP-inspired gear, spells and more to take down hordes of enemies. The trailer confirms that players will be able to go it solo with bots, play with friends or use online matchmaking to find a game.
Obviously the visual style here is going to be a touch divisive, harking back to Acclaim’s catalogue of circa 90s/00s South Park video games with their simple 3D models versus the very authentic 2.5D visuals of the recent Ubisoft RPGs, but it seems a decent enough overall look.
It’s also worth noting that this is firmly positioned as a budget title, with pre-orders going for less than 50 bucks, so it’s not going to be a AAA epic by any stretch. Check out the trailer for yourself:
