The Second Season Of Paramount’s Halo Series Has A Release Date And A First Trailer

Halo, again.

Paramount has revealed the premiere date for the second series of its series based on Microsoft’s iconic sci-fi shooter franchise, Halo. The new season will be making its return on February 8th next year, nearly two years after the debut of the initial season.

“Master Chief John-117 leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant. As humanity’s best hope for winning the war, John-117 discovers his deep connection to a mysterious alien structure that holds the key to humankind’s salvation, or its destruction — the Halo,” reads the official summary from Paramount, which should ring familiar to fans of the series and hopefully set up an idea of what’s to come.

Aside from the slight tease at its setup, the trailer doesn’t give us a whole lot to go off in terms of narrative across this new season, but it certainly looks nice. There’s also no telling yet if we’ll get more Master Cheeks.
