The Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons Remake Has Been Officially Revealed

Fares we can tell, anyway.

Update: It’s announced! Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is officially happening.

Coming from original publisher 505 Games and developer Avantgarden Games, it’s exactly what it sounds like – a remake of the original. It’s launching fairly soon as well on February 28th, 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.

Check out the reveal trailer below:

It looks as though Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Starbreeze Studios’ unique 2013 adventure directed by Josef Fares (of A Way Out/It Takes Two fame), is set to get a remake over a decade later.

That’s according to serial leaker billbil-kun, who is rarely wrong about these things, and who also claims that the title will be published by the original game’s publisher, 505 Games, leaving it somewhat up in the air as to who’s actually developing the remake.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons earned critical praise when it originally launched, giving us a single-player-but-co-op experience by way of two playable characters controlled independently on one controller – before Fares established Hazelight Studios and started pumping out (very good) actual co-op adventures.

As ol’ bill points out, there’s a good shot we see this announced at The Game Awards tomorrow morning:
