Dragon Ball FighterZ’s PS5/Xbox Series Versions Have Arrived Along With Rollback Netcode

Krillin me softly.

Dragon Ball FighterZ, the well-received and still popular 2018 fighting game developed by Arc System Works, is being given a new injection of life with a brand-new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version available right now which not only brings with it updated visuals but also adds hugely-requested rollback netcode to the game’s online play.

The updated version of Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for standalone purchase or as a free upgrade for players who own digital or physical versions of the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, and players across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC will benefit from the new rollback netcode.

Dragon Ball FighterZ’s 3 vs. 3 battle mechanics, huge rosters of iconic characters and recognisable Arc flair for anime-esque graphics makes it a great experience for fans of the franchise and fighting game connoisseurs alike.

We gave the original release of Dragon Ball FighterZ a huge 9/10, with Brodie saying, “Arc System Works has carried Dragon Ball to the upper echelon, crafting a tag-fighting game that captures not only the series’ distinctive style but its spirit. FighterZ stands alongside other versatile, yet accessible, games like Marvel vs. Capcom with ease in what is the best fighting game in recent memory.”

Dragon Ball fans are in for another treat in the near future too, with the upcoming DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero, a brand-new entry in the beloved Sparking!/Budokai Tenkaichi series of fighting games based on the iconic franchise, which is set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC at an undisclosed date in the future.
