DreamHack Melbourne 2024 Will Host Australia’s First Ever Hololive Production Concert

DreamHack Melbourne has announced a new headline concert act for this year’s festival, and it’s a pretty big one with hololive production bringing a number of popular VTubers to the event to host their first-ever Australian concert, dubbed “hololive production x DreamHack Melbourne 2024 Down Under.”The 3D Vtuber concert will take place in Rod Laver Arena (a first for the venue) on the Saturday of DreamHack, April 27th, and will be accessible to all every DreamHack Melbourne attendees with a valid Saturday or full weekend pass, on a first-come first-serve basis on the night.

Ticket upgrades specific to hololive will also be available for those who want a guaranteed seat at the show, which are set to go on sale this Friday, March 22nd at 1PM AEDT and will be available here. A standard hololive ticket upgrade will go for $49 and offer a guaranteed spot in the tiered seating area, while a more expensive $89 “Premium” upgrade will give guaranteed floor seating in a prime spot for the concert as well as entry into a raffle for a meet and greet with one of the hololive talent members.

For those that aren’t able to attend DreamHack Melbourne, tickets to an online broadcast version of the show will also go on sale on Friday at 1PM AEDT here for 4,200JPY (around $43 AUD) plus booking fees. VTuber talent that’s been confirmed to perform at the concert includes the following:

  • Tokoyami Towa (hololive)
  • Kureiji Ollie (hololive Indonesia)
  • Pavolia Reine (hololive Indonesia)
  • Mori Calliope (hololive English)
  • Hakos Baelz (hololive English)
