Ubisoft Has Announced A Rayman Board Game

Okay now do a video game. Thanks.

Ubisoft has revealed an upcoming board game adaptation of the iconic Rayman games, aptly titled Rayman: The Board Game and coming to tables everywhere in Q3 of this year.

The official website for the board game contains very little actual information, aside from a picture of the outer box and two miniatures based on Rayman and Globox, and a short description that reads:

“Discover Rayman like never before in an all-new board game adventure! Team up with your favorite heroes in an epic race, dodging dangers and saving the Teensies! Designed by the acclaimed Maxime Tardif (EARTH) and FLYOS, the game promises thrilling action for 2 to 5 players, ages 7 to 77. Become a legend in the Glade of Dreams, and be ready for the launch in Q3 2024.”

About the only thing we can really glean from what’s been provided is that the game’s art looks based on the more recent UbiArt-powered Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends games, and takes place within the same Glade of Dreams locale as all of the video games. Other than Maxime Tardif, creator of the board game, Earth, FLYOS’ Thomas Filippi and Gary Paitre are also credited as designers.

Rayman’s most recent public appearance was his cameo in the Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope DLC, Rayman in the Phantom Show, which launched in August last year. Here’s hoping that Ubisoft has more planned for the iconic, limbless hero.
