Assassins Creed Shadows’ Release Date Looks To Have Been Revealed Early By Ubisoft Itself

Out of the shadows.

Ubisoft is gearing up to finally lift the lid properly on the next mainline Assassin’s Creed game, previously known as Assassin’s Creed Codename Red. The company announced overnight that not only does the game now have an official title – Assassin’s Creed Shadows – but a proper reveal will be happening with a cinematic trailer later this week.

Before that could even happen though, it seems as if the game’s actual release date as well as some early details on its pricing and DLC. Unfortunately for Ubisoft, it seems as though some versions of the trailer placeholder on YouTube were posted with the release date included, which seems to be a common slip-up with Ubisoft and its YouTube trailer premieres. The information contained points to a launch on November 15th, 2024.

Elsewhere, a dataminer going by “Frax” has also seemingly leaked some early details around the game’s planned DLC and prices, which would seem to be legit as they were revealed alongside the game’s official title which was still a couple of hours away from being announced. It looks as though Shadows will have the classic Ubisoft compliment of expansions, Season Pass stuff and in-game currency.
