Oops. It appears that the official YouTube channel for Ubisoft Japan has given away the release date for the hugely-anticipated Star Wars Outlaws, by publishing it as part of a YouTube Premiere upload for a new trailer that was announced to be going live overnight (thanks, Gematsu).
The trailer is not yet live, but the description is (well, was, I watched it change in real-time as I write this article so it seems that’s been amended already), and revealed both the release date along with some special editions of the game.
As it revealed, Star Wars Outlaws will be launching on August 30th, 2024, which is not that far off at all.
The game will come as a standard, Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition in typical Ubisoft fashion, which will be available to play three days earlier on August 27th and include a season pass. There’s also a pre-order bonus lined up that includes the “Kessel Runner” cosmetic DLC.
Star Wars Outlaws will launch on August 30.

- 2.00 AM AEST (Melbourne/Sydney/Hobart/Canberra/Brisbane)
- 1.30 AM ACST (Adelaide, Darwin)
- 12.00 AM AWST (Perth)
- 4.00 AM NZST (Wellington)
