Black Myth: Wukong, the highly-anticipated upcoming action RPG inspired by Journey to the West, is arriving on PC and PS5 in less than a couple of weeks on August 20th, and developer Game Science has dropped a lengthy “final” trailer in the lead-up to launch.
The trailer gives us another look at the game’s stunning Unreal Engine 5-powered visuals packing huge and lush environments as well as some pretty remarkable enemy designs and slick action.
While there are still concerns around Game Science’s studio culture and some abhorrent remarks made online by members of its leadership team, hype for the game has been pretty consistently high with numerous incredibly-impressive showings. Recently, press previews for the game indicated that it was shaping up to be something special, with those who’ve played it comparing it to some of the best recent “soulslikes” and calling it a potential favourite for 2024.
