When Plaion and Warhorse Studios announced the sequel to 2018’s highly-ambitious Kingdom Come: Deliverance just a few months ago, we were shocked to learn the game was already set to launch in 2024 – it’s not often these days we see a game of this scope revealed and launched within the same year.
If recent listings from US retailers Best Buy and Walmart are anything to go by, though, it looks as if the game will slip out of its 2024 target after all. Both stores have posted very specific release dates of February 11th, 2025, which in isolation may have meant nothing but from two entirely separate entities is probably a good indication of the accuracy of this new date. Best Buy has since updated its information, but the date remains visible on the Walmart page at the time of writing.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is poised to have a showing at next week’s Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase, so we’ll no doubt find out then whether it’s been pushed back to next year.
The sequel has already impressed in its early previews, with our hands-off look at the game back in April suggesting that the team at Warhorse is on track to finally deliver on all of the promise of the original game.
