CEO of Gearbox, Randy Pitchford has replied to a Tweet asking if Gearbox will be bringing any software to the Nintendo Switch. The Borderlands and Battleborn creator has stated that whilst he is a big fan of Nintendo and likes the idea of the Switch, that Nintendo have been difficult to work with in the past.
This would suggest that unlike many other developers, Gearbox currently do not have a devkit and aren’t working on anything for the Switch. Hopefully, this will change once conversations begin as I can’t think of any franchise better than Borderlands to play on the road.
Time will tell. I love Nintendo and I love Switch, but it has never been easy for 3rd parties.

The Nintendo Switch will launch in March 2017.
