As we reported earlier, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe got an update that changed some pretty important things.
However, Nintendo also patched out Inking Girl’s “offensive” gesture. Now, of course, it’s not really that offensive. It essentially means “get stuffed”, which is incredibly tame, but also not the Nintendo look that we’re used to.
She still sticks her arm up, but her other arm doesn’t go over the top of it to exactly replicate this gesture. It’s more now of a “YES!” gesture.
Look, I completely understand it, but I was happy about seeing a more edgy Nintendo, and I’m fairly sure that nobody was really that offended.
