A Victorian Harvey Norman Store Is Already Selling The SNES Classic Mini

Aussie gamers have been getting shipping notifications all week, but we now have confirmation that at least one Harvey Norman store has broken street date, selling the console two days before release.

A photo sent to Vooks clearly shows a reader with a SNES Classic Mini box with that classic Harvey Norman barcode and price tag. The unit was said to be sold at a Victorian Harvey Norman store where it’s presumed that the console was just sitting on the shelf.

Whilst we’ve seen quite a few street date breaks this year, it’s unlikely that Nintendo will bring forward the launch of the console by a full few days. It’s more likely that Nintendo will just find out the store in question and stop them from selling it.

Thanks, Vooks.
