Yep, you read that right. After being announced a few months ago, Outlast: Bundle Of Terror just dropped on Nintendo Switch out of nowhere.
It’s $33.45 and includes the original Outlast game as well as the Whistleblower DLC.
The original Outlast game takes place in a mental asylum and features some of the most tense gameplay that you’ll find. Outlast II is also coming to the Nintendo Switch at some point, but no release date has been set (not that this one had a release date either).
James gave the game an 8 in his review and said: “As a huge horror aficionado, it’s great to see that the horror genre is making more of a comeback in recent years. While these games don’t reach the level of artistic merit shared by games like Silent Hill 2, Outlast is a competent horror game that lays the atmosphere and the tension on thick and fast to provide a frightening experience. It has a few issues – namely the stagnation of the scares and lack of scenario variety as the game progresses, but it’s still an enjoyable game that anyone who’s a fan of the genre can appreciate.”
