Nintendo has confirmed that a bug is currently plaguing the play activity of the Nintendo Switch. Most players have had their play data reset which is quite frustrating for players who have logged 100s of hours into games like Breath of the Wild and obviously take pride in this achievement.
This is probably due to the fact that the Nintendo Switch doesn’t quite know how to handle for the fact that the days are now repeating during its second year.
Nintendo acknowledged the bug on Twitter and said they were working on a solution. It’s not clear if they’ll be able to restore this play data.
Some Nintendo Switch owners’ play activity information is displaying incorrectly. We are aware of the issue and we expect to have more information to share in the near future.
