You’ll Be Able To Grab A Cheeky Mew In Pokémon Let’s Go! With The Poké Ball Plus

Back in the day, I remember lining up in a long queue and a gross shopping center to get Mew loaded onto my Pokémon Red or Blue game, which seemed like such a cool thing at the time and also saved me the hassle of trying out tedious methods to unlock him that I read all over GameFAQs.

For Pokémon Let’s Go, there’s a much easier way to get Mew. Buy a Poké Ball Plus! Today, during their E3 2018 Nintendo Direct, it was announced that Mew will come with every purchased Poké Ball Plus. No further details were provided, but it’s safe to assume it could be a download voucher of some kind.

The Poké Ball Plus will be available to purchase separately, and works with Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee. It’s basically a Joy-Con with a pressable analog stick and button and can be used to play the entire game. As an added bonus, it even works with Pokémon Go! too.

For now, you can grab a Poké Ball Plus separately for $69.95.

Pokémon: Let’s Go! Pikachu, Pokémon Let’s Go! Eevee and the Poké Ball Plus will all release exclusively on Nintendo Switch in Australia on the 16th November 2017.
