Review bombing is a common thing in gaming, but it’s normally reserved for games that incorporate micro-transansactions or the like. Well, it turns out that the latest victim of a wave of negative user reviews is Pokemon Let’s GO.
Gamers are turning on the two games. They’re both sitting at an 81 when it comes to the critic aggregate but sitting below 50 for user reviews. This is most likely due to the fact that they’re similar to Pokemon Yellow and too simplistic for a lot of gamers taste.
This isn’t just exclusive to Metacritic either. It’s also happening on sites like Amazon Japan, to the point that Amazon has completely removed the user score off their site.
