Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal Is Coming To Nintendo Switch This Month

Update: After the mobile versions launched last year, Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal’s Nintendo Switch release date has finally been revealed and it’s not far off at all, coming to Nintendo’s handheld on January 25th.

The game is available to pre-order digitally now on the Nintendo Switch eShop for a 15% pre-order discount at $33.99, with the price going up to $39.99 after launch.

Feral Interactive, the studio behind this year’s Switch re-releases of Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft & The Temple of Osiris, has announced that the next game it’s bringing to Nintendo’s handheld – as well as mobile platforms – is the stealth assassination classic, Hitman: Blood Money.

Dubbed Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal, this new version of the game is set to be a pretty significant overhaul of the 2006 game and will include added features like a new minimap, an Instinct Mode and other gameplay improvements brought across from newer Hitman entries as well as a fully-customisable touchscreen interface plus controller and keyboard/mouse support.

Feral Interactive hasn’t offered up strict release dates for Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal just yet, simply saying the iOS and Android release is happening in the next couple of months with the Nintendo Switch version to follow in Summer.

Check out the reveal trailer below:

“Iconic locations. High-profile targets. Fresh platforms. Hitman: Blood Money — Reprisal takes Agent 47 mobile — with an iOS and Android release this Autumn, and a Switch release to follow in Winter.

“Reprisal is a comprehensive reworking of the stealth-action classic, refined for screens large and small — with a new Minimap, Instinct Mode, and gameplay improvements inspired by later games in the series.

“Hitman Blood Money — Reprisal’s modernisations make it a great fit for all three platforms, and both mobile editions come equipped with a fully customizable touchscreen interface, as well as controller and keyboard & mouse support.”
