A New Nintendo Store Is Opening In San Francisco Next Year

Living the pipe dream.

Nintendo has revealed that it’s set to open its fifth major Nintendo Store, with a new location coming to San Francisco at an unannounced date in 2025.

The new store will be the second in the US after Nintendo New York, with the other three spread across Japan. Perhaps Australia’s turn will come in the next decade or so.

Presumably, like the others, the store will be stocked with copious amounts of Nintendo merch, including exclusive lines, and feature plenty of neat installations and items on exhibit to make it an exciting tourist spot.

Nintendo’s announcement page reads:

“Nintendo of America today announced plans to open an official store in San Francisco’s iconic Union Square, providing a way for a wide range of visitors from near and far to experience the world of Nintendo, its products, and characters.

“The store, called Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO, will open in 2025 as the second official location in the US, joining the store in New York City.

“Please stay tuned for more information as the new store opening approaches.”
