The tragic death of a Cincinnati Ape named Harambe took place in May of this year, but for some reason, the death seems to still be quite prevalent on the internet in the form of memes.
I don’t think anything tops this. Harambe VS Capcom is a free to play fighter which obviously takes heavy inspiration from the Streetfighter/Capcom universe.
The story campaign follows an incredibly overpowered Harambe who is warned of a shadowy conspiracy plotting his murder. Obviously, Harambe fakes his own death to throw his opponents off, before travelling the world meeting well-known characters such as Ryu, Ken, Hugo among other popular Capcom personalities.
