World of Warcraft Shadowlands

Here’s How To Get Into The World Of Warcraft: Shadowlands Beta Next Week

According to developers, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands won’t be released until Fall 2020. This means we don’t have long to wait and we’ll be adventuring in the afterlife in September at the very earliest. If you’re especially eager to face the Maw, Blizzard announced during their Livestream this morning, that invitations to the Shadowlands Beta will be going out to lucky players next week.

This is an excellent opportunity to test out the upcoming expansion, as Blizzard has assured players that the Beta is feature complete. This means that while there is still work yet to be done, the Beta provide an insightful look at end-game content, as well as an increased level cap as compared to the Alpha. It’s worth noting that while players will be able to experience the various new Covenants, map zones, Souldbinds, and dungeons, progress will not carry over once Shadowlands servers go live in the next few months.

To opt-in for a Beta invitation, it’s as simple as logging into your account on Battle.net and visiting the official Shadowlands page here. From the home page, click “Beta Opt-In” in the top right-hand corner to confirm that you’d like to receive news and updates about the game and would like to be considered for the Beta testing phase.
