There’s A Wonder Woman 84 Game Made In Microsoft MakeCode

An interesting smaller-scale film tie-in has popped up to support DC’s upcoming sequel to Wonder Woman, titled Wonder Woman 1984.

It appears to be the latest in a run of supplementary releases tied to the film that unfortunately endeavour to spoil details the film’s plot, which is a shame for those looking forward to the film. The small game, titled Chaos Maze, sees Diana navigating the halls of a museum to uncover artefacts, retrieve her lasso and armour and defeat Barbara Minerva and destroy the Shard of Chaos.

Parts of this is previously known, such as Minerva being installed as one of the film’s villain, though the details about the Shard of Chaos are new, as is the potential of a museum-set showdown.

The coolest thing about this game is that it’s made within Microsoft MakeCode, a cool tool that lets people learn a bit of basic coding and make their own games. By clicking the link at the bottom of the page, it redirects to a page where people can make their own version of Chaos Maze with an easy step-by-step tutorial that’s really easy to follow.

For anyone with even a general curiosity about what goes into coding a game, it’s worth a look.

Wonder Woman 1984 is currently slated for release in cinemas on October 2, 2020.
