World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Finally Has A New Release Date

Blizzard has finally announced the new release date for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, after delaying the expansion’s original October 26th release date, earlier this month to accommodate fine-tuning and feedback the ongoing beta testing. According to the announcement, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will officially launch on the 24th November 2020 AEDT/NZDT. Blizzard today also announced dates for several upcoming Shadowlands-related content releases.

  • The Scourge Invade Azeroth 11 November AEDT/NZDT – With the Helm of Domination torn apart and the sky over Icecrown shattered, the undead Scourge make a resurgence—and Azeroth’s heroes must confront this Death-born threat before it consumes the mortal world of Azeroth. This Shadowlands pre-expansion event goes live starting 11 November.
  • The Gates of Castle Nathria Open 9 December AEDT/NZDT – Castle Nathria, the first epic 10-boss raid of Shadowlands, will be available starting 9 December. The opening of the raid also signals the start of Shadowlands Raid, Mythic Dungeon, and PvP Season 1.

Shadowlands is the eighth expansion for the beloved MMORPG, World of Warcraft. This expansion will see the heroes of Azeroth journeying through the realms of the afterlife to forge new alliances with the ruling covenants, discover the fates of the fallen and to ultimately face a menace, shrouded in darkness, that threatens the integrity of Azeroth as we know it.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be available at 10 am on the 24th of November, AEST, exclusively on PC via the Battle.net client.
