Sony Has Rebranded Its PC Publishing Label To PlayStation PC

Spotted by users on gaming forum Resetera, it seems that Sony has begun rebadging its PC ports of first-party PlayStation games under a new label on Steam.

The previous PlayStation Mobile label that was accompanying the company’s games on Steam has been replaced with ‘PlayStation PC LLC’, suggesting that Sony has rolled out a new branding to drive home its focus on porting some of its most popular first-party titles to PC platforms.

You can see it here on the Steam page for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition:

Resetera users also pointed out that the company registered the name roughly six months ago on April 13, 2021.

The next PlayStation Studios title to come to PC will be 2018’s excellent God of War in January next year, bringing a heap of graphical enhancements with it. The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection will also be headed to PC sometime in 2022.
