NeoGAF user ichtyander has posted up 12 alternative No Man’s Sky covers which were designed to look like old-school Sci-fi books. No disrespect to the original cover designer but these look absolutely insane. For a second, I was insanely excited before realising that these weren’t reversible covers in the official release. They seem to capture the feel of the game perfectly and are a throw back to an older generation of sci-fi.

No Man’s Sky will release on August 10 for PS4.
