An Insomniac representative confirmed in a behind closed doors session at E3 that the Spider-Man map would be quite large.
More specifically, he referred that the size of the map in-game would be roughly 4-6 times the size of Sunset Overdrive. Sunset Overdrive was Insomniac’s last open-world game and definitely not considered to be small in size.
It’s obviously worth stating that Spider-Man can get around the map quite quickly with his web-slinging techniques, but it’s good to have confirmation that there will be a significant free-roaming portion to the game in an open-space.
