Activision Blizzard has announced the first seven teams that will be apart of the Overwatch League. The brand new League will align teams with major cities, but more interestingly, there’s some heavy-hitting sporting figures that will own some of these teams.

More interestingly, Robert Kraft who is the CEO of the New England Patriots will head a team as well as Jeff Wilson who is an integral part of the New York Mets.

There’s more teams to come but the owners (and teams) so far are below:

  • Robert Kraft, Chairman and CEO of the Kraft Group and the New England Patriots (Boston)
  • Jeff Wilpon, Co-Founder and Partner of Sterling.VC and COO of the New York Mets (New York)
  • Noah Whinston, CEO of Immortals (Los Angeles)
  • Ben Spoont, CEO and Co-Founder of Misfits Gaming (Miami-Orlando)
  • Andy Miller, Chairman and Founder of NRG Esports (San Francisco)
