Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Just Got A Free Level That Was Removed For Being Too Hard

Vicarious Visions has just added the level Stormy Ascent to the original Crash Bandicoot game in the N. Sane Trilogy. It was originally removed from the original game because it was deemed too hard. It apparently comes in at roughly 4 times the length of any level in the original game.

Interestingly enough, it was left on the original PS1 disc but hidden due to the fact that it was deemed too hard to remove. Apparently one of the best Crash designers used over 60 lives to get through the level for the first time, so it’s going to be interesting to see how it goes this time around.

It’s available for free until August 18th which it will then be $2.99 USD. It’s still showing up as priced on the PSN which looks to be an error.

Good luck with it. With some of the earlier levels being an absolute nightmare, I can’t wait to see how people go with this.
