Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life Has Been Delayed

Sega has announced the unfortunate news that Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will now launch on April 17, around a month later than originally planned.

Though no firm reason was given for the delay, Sega assured in a single tweet that it was a “tough business decision we didn’t make lightly.”

Interestingly, this pits Yakuza against God of War, which releases around the same time. Whether the two long-running franchises have much cross-over in their demographics will be clear soon enough.

Yakuza 6 is said to be the final title in the series featuring protagonist Kazuma Kiryu and is set immediately following the events of its predecessor.

Those unable to wait for the April release can get their hands on the game’s demo which is releasing on PlayStation 4 on February 27.
