Earlier today, photos of Kingdom Hearts III on PS4 started circulating online, after someone had stolen copies somewhere during the shipping process. Other photos and videos quickly started appearing online.

Director Tetsuya Nomua took to Twitter moments ago to confirm that the team was aware of the issue as well as how it happened, but assured fans that the game’s epilogue as well as a secret movie (which are apparently the biggest spoilers) are not on the disc, and will not be released prior to release.

It’s interesting. It’s unclear if this means that these videos will be apart of DLC or were left off the disc incase of situations like this.
The full tweet reads:
“We’re aware that a small portion of Kingdom Hearts III has been circulating online before its official release. We are also aware as to how it all happened. We’re sorry to see this caused concern amongst our fans who are excited for the release.
The game’s epilogue and secret movie, which are the biggest spoilers in the game, are planned to be released at a later date just in case, so they will not be shown before the game’s release.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is out on January 29th, 2019.
