Apex Legends is only just over a day old and Respawn are enjoying the fruits of a successful launch that saw over a million users flock to the game day one. But that hasn’t stopped Vince Zampella, CEO of Respawn Entertainment, from teasing players with the fact they’re working on “more Titanfall for later in the year.”
Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s an official sequel to Titanfall 2, though it’s encouraging that the team appears to be playing around with their universe and having fun doing so.
His initial tweet read as such.
Tons of things planned for @PlayApex in the future. We are also committed to listening to player feedback.
We are also working on more Titanfall for later in the year (yes, I said the T word). We love being able to experiment in this crazy universe!

It’s also known that Respawn is working on a VR game for the Oculus, so one commenter was quick to write-off Zampella’s promises of Titanfall as being this project. Zampella shut this down in a short and sweet manner.
No!

So, we’re likely getting more Titanfall this year and it won’t be the VR game Respawn is said to be working on.
If Respawn Entertainment can manage to deliver Apex Legends, Jedi: Fallen Order along with another game in the Titanfall universe this year along, that’d be an amazing coup for the developer.
