Through an investor presentation this afternoon, THQ Nordic founder and CEO Lars Wingefors has confirmed that new Saints Row and Metro games are “well into development”.
As you’d expect, Volition is developing the new Saints Row, following their work on Agents of Mayhem in 2017. While the game two series shared both a developer and a universe, this will be the first time Volition ventures back into Saints Row since Gat Out Of Hell released in 2015.
4A Games are working on the new Metro, putting to rest any rumours that Metro Exodus was a disappointment to the publisher.
Volition's new Saints Row game is "well into development" and 4A Games is indeed working on the next Metro game, Wingefors said during the investor presentation.

I’d wager it’s much too early to expect a reveal at GamesCom or even this year, but stranger things have happened.
Platforms were not announced as of yet.
