Long live the Vita.
In an interview with Game Informer, Sony President Jim Ryan has confirmed that the company won’t be investing in another handheld.
“PlayStation Vita was brilliant in many ways, and the actual gaming experience was great, but clearly it’s a business that we’re no longer in now.” said Jim Ryan to Game Informer. You can read the whole interview HERE.
It’s definitely no huge surprise that Sony won’t be creating another handheld anytime soon. The Vita was successful in the short term, but died out fairly quickly and didn’t get to the heights that the PlayStation Portable did.
