After years of wondering about when we’ll get a new Bioshock game, 2K has today confirmed that one is on the way.
It’s in development by a new development studio called Cloud Chamber and 2K says that it will be in development for the next several years.
Obviously, we don’t know anything about the story or what direction the series will take but you’d have to assume that it will head in a completely new direction.
Today, 2K announced the founding of Cloud Chamber, its newest development studio. This team of storytellers has begun work on the next iteration of the acclaimed BioShock franchise, which will be in development for the next several years.

Interestingly enough, Kotaku says that whilst this sounds like a game that is just beginning development, it has actually been in-development at this studio for several years now. The game was originally in development at a studio called Certain Affinity n 2015, before it was shelved and the current team was put on the project.
