In response to Microsoft dropping the Xbox Series X specs late last night, Sony has said that it will drop PlayStation 5 information on Thursday morning at 3am AEDT.
It says to ‘Watch along’ on the PlayStation Blog, so it’s unclear if it’ll be a stream or if they’ll just drop the information on the PlayStation Blog (similar to how Microsoft did on the Xbox Wire). Similar to what Microsoft revealed, it looks like it’ll be a deep dive into specs and the system architecture of the PlayStation 5. Mark Cerny (who was also lead on the PS4 system architecture) will be providing the update.
To temper expectations, it’s unlikely that we’ll get launch titles, a price or a release date.
You’ll be able to watch it right HERE.
