A Sony patent has appeared which suggests that that Sony could be working on a cloud solution to emulate PS1, PS2 and PS3 games through the cloud.
The patent was posted to Twitter by Renka_Schedule and says: @A large number of game titles across PS1/PS2/PS3 and various generations of game consoles can be stored and used via the cloud gaming library. These games can be run on a virtual machine that mimics the operating system associated with each game console”
Later in the Twitter thread, it’s pointed out that users could be able to record and crate mini-games from games and share with friends VIA the cloud. We know that the DualSense controller has a Create button, and we still don’t know the full use of it, so it sounds like it could be for a feature similar to this.
