PS5’s backwards compatibility of PS4 games has been a little bit confusing and it wasn’t really touched on much today outside of the announcement of PlayStation Plus Collection, but it’s now been confirmed that 99% of PS4 games will play on PS5.
In an interview with the Washington Post, PlayStation President, Jim Ryan said that “99 percent” of PS4 games will be compatible on PS5 with “thousands tested”.
