Spider-Man Remastered

Spider-Man Remastered’s Impressive Ray Tracing And Peter Parker’s New Face Have Been Shown Off

Insomniac has shown off the first footage for Spider-Man Remastered and we get to see the ray traced reflections and ambient shadows. There’s a nice comparison below to show you how much of a difference the real-time reflections make.

Something that not a lot of people expected is the announcement that Peter Parker will have a brand new face in Spider-Man Remastered. In the Remastered version of the game, Peter Parker’s face will be based on industry newcomer Ben Jordan. A lot of people are making the comparison that he looks a lot closer to Tom Holland, but that’s up for you to decide.

For those that aren’t so fussed about pretty ray tracing and better lighting, there’s also a 60FPS performance mode which Insomniac has shown off below.

Spider-Man Remastered launches alongside the PS5 on November 12th. As a reminder, you’ll need to buy the Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition to get your hands on it.
