Far Cry 6 has been delayed from its initial February 18th release date. The announcement was made on a Ubisoft earnings call, where the company revealed that the game would release in the 2021-2022 fiscal year (April 2021 to March 2022).
Far Cry’s Twitter account quickly Tweeted out the below statement:
“While we know that you are all anxious to get your hands on Far Cry 6, we want to let you know that we’ve been given more time to allow us to make this the game you aspire to play while focusing on the well-being of our teams in this unprecedented global context. Our teams around the world are working in the studios and from their homes to pour their passion and creativity into making an unforgettable game – one we hope you will love”.

It’s hard to know when we’ll see the game release, but it’s probably a positive given how stacked the next few months are, for Ubisoft in particular.
