Deadline is reporting that Sony is moving forward with its Metal Gear Sold movie with Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts (Kong: Skull Island).
It’s reported that Oscar Issac will now play Solid Snake. Isaac is best known for his work as Poe Dameron in the recent Star Wars trilogy.
It’s worth mentioning that this movie has apparently been on the table for almost a decade, with nothing seemingly materialising as of yet, so this is likely to be still some time away if we see it at all.
Deadline also note that Oscar Isaac has a busy schedule in the coming months, which doesn’t leave a lot of room for the Metal Gear Solid shoot.
