Tiger Woods Has Signed A Long Term Deal With 2K That Will Bring Him Back Into The Game

2K has announced that it has signed a long-term deal with Tiger Woods which will allow the publisher to use his name and likeness exclusively in 2K golf games.

Recently, 2K has published PGA Tour 2K21, and following the release of this, the company has announced that it has plans to acquire HB Studios Multimedia, the developers being the game and also The Golf Club franchise.

This marks the first time that Tiger Woods has been apart of a golf game since EA used to publish golfing games under the Tiger Woods name.

In regards to the 2K partnership, Tiger Woods had the the below to say:

“I am looking forward to making my return to the video game landscape, and with 2K and HB Studios, I’ve found the right partners to make it happen,” said Tiger Woods. “I’m honored to take part in this opportunity and look forward to sharing my expertise and insights as we build the future of golf video games together.”

Whilst 2K didn’t announce a new PGA Tour game for this year, it’s clear at this point that one is imminent.
