Sony has released 15 minutes of glorious new Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart 4K gameplay footage following this morning’s State of Play stream.
The gameplay footage gives us a new look at several locations which all look to have better lighting, more characters on screen and more dynamics characters than nay Ratchet & Clank game that has come before it.
We also got to see Ratchet’s new moves such as the Phantom Dash and wall-running. The video also shows off some more of the Rift Tether mechanic which takes advantage of the PS5’s blazing fast SSD.
When it comes to weapons, we got confirmation that the game will make use of the triggers to handle alt-fire for several weapons including the new NegaTron Collider.
New gameplay mechanics such as Clank puzzles, arena challenges, aerial combat and the photo mode were also shown off in the 15 minutes of gameplay footage.
