Although only Housemarque’s acquisition has been made official so far, a slip up from PlayStation Japan might have ruined the surprise that PlayStation has also bolstered their stocks with Bluepoint Games.
Instead of uploading Housemarque’s ‘Welcome to the Family’ header, the Japanese arm of PlayStation accidentally uploaded a similar feature image with Bluepoint’s name in place of the Returnal developer’s.
You’ll notice that wedged in next to the Returnal key art is what looks like Demon’s Souls key art, further validating the social media faux pas.

As another developer who has worked closely with PlayStation over the years, including the most recent remake of Demon Souls, it’s another no-brainer addition to the stable for the publisher.
If true, we should probably expect confirmation of this one-two punch from PlayStation pretty soon.
