The Resident Evil 4 Remake Will Apparently Be Announced Soon And Be Spookier Than The Original

A new report over on Fanbyte has some new information about the rumoured upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake.

According to the report, the game is set to be announced early this year and will have some significant changes from the original. Capcom wants to harness more recent Resident Evil games and make the game more spookier as a whole. This means that classic scenes such as the Village among others will take place at night. Capcom believes that this change will create a spookier tone.

Demos of the original Resident Evil 4 presented quite a different game to the one that released, focusing more on tension and horror as opposed to action, and that is said to be quite an inspiration for the remake. Most famously, the featured Leon wandering a castle, getting possessed by black smoke and fighting off living dolls.
