PlayStation has followed up pricing for its new PlayStation Plus offering with a blog post detailing a bunch of PS5 and PS4 games coming to the service as well as a bunch of classic PS1, PS2, PSP and PS3 games (not in Australia) that will be launching alongside the service.
As far as we can tell, this is only some of the games that will be there on launch day in June, but more will also be added following launch. In particular a refresh of games in the middle of each month will occur for both the Extra/Deluxe plans with the number of new games added each month changing. It’s also worth mentioning that this may change region by region.
There’s a bunch of great games including Demon’s Souls, Returnal. Death Stranding Director’s Cut, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Red Dead Redemeption and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy that will all be available day one. You can find pricing of all the tiers and what you get which each of them HERE.
PlayStation also has confirmed that some classic games will be remastered with the ability to save on the fly and rewind as well as improved frame rates and resolutions. They also confirmed that those who had originally purchased the digital games from the PS1/PS2/PSP generations will not need to subscribe to PlayStation Plus in order to play these games in their remastered form.
