It looks as though Returnal is the next PlayStation Studios title headed to PC, if a Steam database listing and some leaked video is to be believed.
SteamDB, which scours Steam’s backend for everything from game listings to prices and concurrent players scanned some newly-logged information for an untitled game that is very clearly Returnal. The listing is reportedly tagged with things like “sci-fi”, “bullet hell” and “rogue-like” which certainly fits the scope of Returnal, but more compelling are references to very specific components of the game like the Tower of Sisyphus (the setting of the game’s recent DLC) and Atropos (the alien planet the game is set on.)
Adding further fuel to the fire, VGC reports that an unnamed source produced footage of Returnal running on PC. It’s also one of the games named in the famous Nvidia GeForce Now leak that has been rapidly revealing itself to be accurate, and just yesterday we reported that PlayStation is keen to expand its PC business even further.
