The WD_Black SN850 with Heatsink was one of the first PS5 compatible external SSDs and now Sony has announced that it is now the first officially licensed PS5 SSD.
What this means is that it is now being rebranded and re-released with the signature white/blue PS5 packaging that we’ve seen from the console all the way to official accessories such as controllers and headsets.
We’ve partnered with @PlayStation to bring you the official WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe SSD for #PS5 consoles!
