The PlayStation VR2 Just Had 11 New Games Announced

Some great-looking titles on show!

A massive drop of PlayStation VR2 news has just come through, including a release date and price for the next generation of PSVR.

On top of that though, we’ve also just had the announcement of 11 new titles from a variety of developers following the headset’s launch. You can read about each of them in detail on the PlayStation Blog, but here’s a quick rundown as well as announcement trailers for each:

The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR

Don’t blink – Immerse yourself in this fast-paced roller coaster action-horror-shooter where every move you make, and everything you see, could mean the difference between life and death. Experience the thrill of the most nightmarish VR roller coaster action-shooter, enhanced by the innovative features of PlayStation VR2 and set inside the sinister world of The Dark Pictures Anthology.

Crossfire: Sierra Squad

Soon you’ll be able to drop into the world of Crossfire in full VR, taking the fight to dimensions yet unseen! A battle-focused shooter, Crossfire: Sierra Squad will have you fighting a seemingly endless enemy force with high AI intelligence. It’s a fast-paced, easy to learn FPS. We can’t wait to show you what we are working on.

The Light Brigade

A tactical roguelike shooter with realistic gunplay and immersive light magic. Ascend the ranks of The Light Brigade as you journey through shattered memories to return light to the darkness.

Cities VR – Enhanced Edition

Be the mayor and design neighbourhoods, construct buildings, direct the flow of traffic – all while you handle economics, emergency services, and more. See your skyline rise from an expansive bird’s eye view, or watch your city come alive from the streets. From cosy suburbs to massive metropolises, only your imagination is the limit. Step inside this VR adaptation of the leading city-builder, Cities: Skylines.

Cosmonious High

Owlchemy Labs presents an out-of-this-world VR experience with their hallmark interactivity and distinctive humour. Meet a colourful cast, adapt outrageous alien powers, and discover the source of the school’s malfunctions to save Cosmonious High from chaos.

Hello Neighbour VR: Search and Rescue

Hello Neighbour: Search and Rescue is a brand new groundbreaking VR horror-puzzle game where you sneak into your creepy neighbour’s house to save your friend.

Jurassic World Aftermath Collection

This reworked version of the popular survival adventure game combines both Part 1 and Part 2 into one complete collection. Set between Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, players crash land on the familiar Isla Nublar and find themselves  trapped in an abandoned research facility.

After The Fall

Ever felt like a squid out of water? The story of Tentacular plunges you into the ocean-dwelling hulk of a gigantic, kind-hearted tentacled beast trying to figure out its place in the world.

PlayStation VR2 already has a killer line-up of software beyond these 11 newly-announced titles, too. It’ll be available in a bundle with Horizon: Call of the Mountain on launch, and we recently got to try out the headset for ourselves and play some Resident Evil Village in VR at Tokyo Game Show!
