The Last Of Us Part 1

The Last Of Us Part I Is Now Available As A Trial For PlayStation Plus Deluxe Members

Just watched the premiere episode? Now you can play it!

Hot off the heels of yesterday’s premiere of the first episode of HBO’s The Last of Us, PlayStation has added The Last of Us Part I to the catalogue of games with time-limited trials for PlayStation Plus Deluxe members.

Players on the most expensive PS+ tier will be able to download the game in full and then play for up to two hours before their trial runs out, at which point they can opt to purchase the game digitally (or go out and pick up a cheaper physical copy) and continue their progress.

The Last of Us Part I is last year’s ground-up remake of the PS3 original, created specifically for the PS5. We scored it a 9/10 in our review, saying “The Last of Us Part I is, for all intents and purposes, the same The Last of Us that you know. It doesn’t take liberties to completely reshape the experience and nor should it. It does, however, smartly enhance the original’s combat through A.I. advancements, and drags the original’s production values over the line to create a product that can stand unified with its more polished sequel.
